First aid examination
A certificate of first aid knowledge is a condition of being issued a driving licence. The examination is run by the Hungarian Red Cross, and its fee is not part of the course fee.
Which courses need it
In the categories below a driving licence can only be issued once you hold the certificate. The certificate is not tied to a category: you obtain it once and it remains valid for later categories.

Exemption
Certain medical qualifications, and a first aid certificate obtained earlier, exempt you from the examination. If you think this applies to you, bring the certificate and we will check it at the office.
